My take on this is REAL Cage or skip it......
Why do you want it?

Autopower stuff is not too bad. I've seen good Autopower bars, and I've seen not-so-good Autopower bars (mostly due to weld quality). They don't fit as nicely as anything custom made, obviously. They're not made to fit real tightly against the body panels, so keep that in mind.

That being said, a friend of mine had an Autopower cage in his Prelude for a couple of years as he ran in ITS and HC, but eventually opted for a full custom cage.

i've been planning on running an open road rally here in Nevada; The Nevada Open Road Challenge and the Silver State Classic. i'd like to get a roll bar, racing seat, and a harness. just to be safe.

so i was thinking:

Autopower race roll bar
Crow Harness
probably Corbeau or Sparco Evo

Make sure the seat is mounted securely, especially if you're not using a seat back brace. Crow harnesses are a good choice.

Autopower is fine, but I'd opt for something custom built, if you have the money.

A nicely built custom piece is going to fit very tightly. You might have a difficult time getting it in/out. An Autopower might suit you better then (plus it'll be cheaper). Another manufacturer worth looking into is Kirk Racing. I don't know if they have a Prelude fitment or not.
