Default How to build B16A2

ok so i got 2 B16A2's and i want to build one of them as a fast fast fast every day driver and leave the other one stock for those rainy days that we all have, any ways let me know what the best set up would be, i just got a type-r head so now i wanna build the block LMK

Im guessing you plan on doing this with a budget. So I'll suggest CTR pistons on the bottom end and some good cams up top. Since you already have an ITR head you are ahead of the curve. Add that with a good header and 2.5" exhaust and you should have a pretty mean B16. I have the same motor but I havent had the chance to crack it open yet, but I will in the near future.

lol true but im lucky enough to be in montana for the last 6 or 7 monthes. so i got no smog laws lol yay, any ways i am planning to fully build the botom end so whats the best and most reasonable parts i could get?

Realistically speaking, a different block. You only build B16's because you love them or you dont have the ability to change it out of your car.

Get intertune tv's 200whp b16 build. The Omniman shows you everything on how these engines work, and how to build them. He made 200+whp on mostly stock honda parts. p30 pistons, ported ITR head, cams, pretty much stock bottom end, a good header back exhaust, and a good tune. search for it...it should be somewhere in the all motor thread. BTW, its two DVDs, with over 6 hours of footage.
