twin scroll exhaust housing on non twin scroll manifold?

How would using a non divided manifold on a twin scroll turbo affect spool?

I don't think it helps or hurts spool, ur just limiting flow by useing a smaller exhaust housing...

there's quite a few people on here who run a twin scroll housing on a non divided manifold, from what I've read they recommend just knife edging the divider in the turbine housing.
