Default Turbo Cams?

All I really have left for my motor is the head, I was thinking about doing Supertech valvetrain again, but I was a little stumped on camshafts. I might stick with the Type-R's, but I would rather go with a turbo camshaft, since the car is not dailied. Any opinions?

You have a few options. I would personally stick w/ the ITR or something fairly similar like the Blox Bs. Depending on how crazy you plan to get, you could look into MazWorx cams...i'm not sure entirely on whats available anymore

turbos cams seems to suck for hondas, typically the more aggressive all motor cams seem to do best. i would stick with the stock itr cams. i'm switching from gsr's to itr in my build soon.

So there isn't anything that is going to get me any good gains versus Type-R camshafts? Driveability isn't that big of a deal, since it only drives on nice days, weekends, and to race. I just want to make as much power as I can.

tony had good gains going from type r's to skunk cams in his car like almost 100whp, but hes moving alot of air so your gains will be smaller, search for that thread. More power @ less boost is always good.

On my setup the best cams that I have used is the Rocket Motorsports M21 cam. I have yet to try it against a Skunk Pro 1. But the performance for the M21 won't dissappoint.

..if you do some searching you will find that there are a few threads with some cam comparison tests. IMO, the best bang for your buck is CTR cams. If money is not an issue, then MazWorkx V1 cams, RM m21, or S2 Pro 1's are all very good choices that will out perform type R cams...also the bigger the setup(turbo/fuel) the more gains you will see.

My setup is decent thus far, I just need to port the head before I get tuned. I would like to get different camshafts and do up the valvetrain too. I am aiming for around 600fwhp with just getting the head done.

....yea, swap those out for some 1000cc injectors at least, and for comfort upgrade those valve springs and retainers for some higher revs, the cams are fine for 600hp. What are you using for managment?

I plan on throwing 1000cc injectors in there before the tune.

I will be going on Neptune, right now it was just base tuned with a Romulator.

I've been hearing good things about the Pro 1's, I may have to look into that.

Any updates? The Pro 1's are looking good to me and I have around $1000 to spend, so I am thinking cams and tune!
