I saw that people wrote that an H22 is better than a b16. Well the b16 is quicker off the line but the H22 will pull it. I know bc i raced a b16 civic and beat it by a car. The H22 is a very good and powerful motor for those who know how to drive it!!! I also ran a Lexius IS 300 and walked it with my H22 A4 hatch. And for those people who say an H22 cant rev past 8100; THATS BULLSHIT bc mine redlines at 9000 RPM's with a JDM ECU, and with NO AC I am running about 230-250 HP, so what it is *****zzzzz

 

What mods have you done to get you 230-250hp?

 

i got cams, cold air intake, dc headers w/ full catback exhaust, jdm computer, stage 3 clutch

and all this beat a b16 by 1 car? i'd figure you only needed a dc HEADER not two. lol. sad hope that b16 is pretty damn built. and who cares if it redlines at 9k? question is, is it making power up there?

for real???????? i put a ACT stage 2 clutch and i should have about like 175 whp on my stock b16. which has so much torque i go rippin off the line fo realz.

 

Well thats why you are revving that high with out F'ing your engine, you wouldnt be doing that on stock cams and valvetrain

 

A) With the setup you have, you do NOT have 230-250whp.

B) If you have an H22A4 hatch, and you beat a B16 swapped civic by only one car, you ******* suck at driving.

C) WRONG SECTION. Put this in the GDD since it's not even worth of the kill stories forum.

D) B16 shouldn't have been quicker off the line, the H22 is a lot torquier - you suck at launching.

E) The civic hatch is roughly 2200lbs, the IS300 is roughly 3500lbs.

Ea) He's ~160% the weight of you with .8L more displacement on a lesser revving engine...

Eb) On a spec sheet, a Lexus IS300 does a 0-60 of about 8.2 seconds, most pickup trucks are faster than that.

Ec) To give you an idea of how ******* slow that is, an EM1 (99/00 Si) with it's B16, FULLY LOADED (53% the engine size of the IS300) does 0-60 in roughly 7 seconds. Half the engine size, 1.2 seconds faster 0-60.

Ed) The Lexus IS300 is nice, but it's by no means a fast car. Bragging about beating one is pathetic since you can do it in a stock '94 LS Integra even if the IS300 does start to pull at ~100 or so.

What are you, on crack?
-You dont have 230 or 250 hp
-B16 is not quicker off the line, learn how to drive
-If you have an h22 that can only beat a b16 by a car, your h22 is beat and you need to learn how to drive, bad.
- Wtf is a lexius? You mean a Lexus?
-Where is the tech? Dont post this garbage in this forum.
- Keep revving your H out to 9000 with your "jdm" ecu, see what happens eventually
