oh well u can start by bumping your compression up with aftermarket pistons or oem. best oem pistons for your B16 are Ctr pistons which i have a set for sale. after that you shoul upgrade your valvetrain get some mild cams I/H/E intake manifold and a good tune. U should get a better header then a dc 4 to 1.

you will not have to do anythin to the block unless your sleeves are scratched. if your sleeves are scratched then you will have to hone them. I want 200 for the pisotns shipped. they are brand new with rings and all u have to do is shave 1mm off each side of your rods on the part that connects to the pistons. any machine shop can do that for you. I have some scat rods 4sale also they are for a B16 i can give u a good price if u buy both.

Disregard what ^ said. $5,000 is way more than what you need to make 200whp on a b16. You can run some CTR pistons with some good cams (I.e. Rocket Motorsports M22x or something along those lines maybe even some Blox's cams which are around 200-300 cheaper than the competition.) with a Toda header (maybe even a SMSP header) and ITR intake manifold and throttle body and your gold, all that is on the cheap side with most of the money being spent on the header. Understand the fact that b16's have no power down low so you have to throw some parts in there to help make up for it up top. Now if you go all out you can spend $5k but thats with ITB's, forged pistons and sleeved. But if you are willing to go through all that you might as well save up a lil more and go K.

Oh and the guy above my post is also correct.

I dunno about 5k on just the motor, maybe with the ITBs but he still made 200hp without 'em. It really a pretty simple setup kinda like that omniman build

Long Block:
'00 SI B16A2
CTR PCT pistoins w/ honda rings std. bore (81mm)
ARP rod Bolts
ARP head studs
OEM head gasket, used 1 piece
Comptech Machine Street port w/ full radius valve job
ITR intake Valves
Portflow springs and retainers
Skunk Stage 2 cams and gears
ITR Intake manifold ported by Comptech Machine
ITR throttle body
MemoryFab J's style CarbonFiber Intake
Toda header
STr fuel rail
RC 310cc Injectors
CTR N-1 crank Pulley

i dont think you need to spend 5k to hit 200 whp....u might as well turbo for that price..makes more sense and you'll have alot more torque..
