just a quick question, looking for a simple answer/guess.

i am going to be painting a front bumper, lip, fender, and spoiler. any approximate guesses on how much paint and clearcoat i would need? i am going to be buying the factory colored paint from http://www.paintscratch.com in the form of 12.5oz spray cans.

 

Are you doing a touch up or painting new parts with no paint on them?

 

i'm repainting each piece entirely.

 

Depending on the coverage you get, I'd say 16 oz of base unreduced and about another 16 oz of clear.

 

so two 12.5oz cans will be enough? i already have a few cans of clearcoat from autozone.

 

 

 

hi, i just need to know how much paint is required for a spoiler and lip.

bought a black front end so no longer need to paint the other parts mentioned.

i'm guessing it's going to be about the same amount for each part.
