Default Weard, dont know if its a tech Q

Last night i was going from a freeway onto a ramp to get on road and turning left while it was green, so i speed up to make into it. it was after a rain i dont know how fast i was going but pretty fast so i braked hind of hard to, to make it into a corner and my car just shuts off. Going into a corner was little hard sense the power steering was off and then my car just starts up and as it was it was good. Any ideas what could it be, checked my batt today the connectors was tight good, it was on my 93 prelude 5 speed

lol, w0rd... You're car shut off and came back on by itself?? That's crazy awesome...
Mine'll just shut off, and that's it...

Your Battery shouldn't have anything to do with it, the car isn't really running off the battery once it's already running..

Check your Dizzy/plugs/wires maybe? Fuel, air filter? So many things could make it stall...

Maybe check for any loose ground wires. That may cause it to cut out and come back on. it has happened to me before. just my thought.

And the hose you are talking about i believe is the water inlet hose to the heater core.

its possible that some rain got into your wiring on the alt and caused your car to die. But that doesn't explain it coming back on. Any more details other than whats given?

Its more interesting that this happened twice during the rain. Anyone ever experience this during all dry conditions?

that happened to me in my old toyota pickup before. i was taking a turn and it all of a sudden cut out. then it just started back up again. i never took it out of gear or used the clutch or anything so i guess it just roll started itself. i assumed it must have been so sort of ignition problem, and once it got spark back it started running again.
