i JUST got my invidia exhaust installed at a muffler shop, a few times when i stoped at a stop light i would smell someting burning, and i still smelled it as the car is sitting in my garage. is it just the way the new exhaust smells or what? somethin i should worry about?

 

99% its either a exhaust leak and your smelling the fumes or its burning up the greese/oil from the install

it should go away - if not, go back to the exhaust shop

 

If the exhaust is new it will smell for a while. Or it could be grease burning off. I doubt its the smell of exhaust fumes. Pretty distinguishable.

 

I agree its the enamel burning off, it will be gone a few days.

agreed. make sure they removed all the plastic too from your exhaust

lat time i checked dioxin wasnt the best thing to breathe in...

 

i didnt say it was. im just telling him to double check his exhaust to see if theres any plastic parts still on his exhaust
