Default Brake Pads

What are you guys using? Suggestions?

It's time for me to replace mine soon. These will be strictly for street driving, no track or autocrossing (I'll be using race pads for those two activities). Right now I'm looking into Project Mu NS Brake Pads which run around $140 for front/rears. Any opinions?

Call me crazy, but, I haven't had a reason to switch from the OE pads for street driving yet. I have an AP2 and like the bite the semi-metallic pads have in the temps they reach on the street.

The Ap1 OEM brake pads will run me around $110 or so. The Ap2 brake pads have way too much brake dust for my liking.

It's OK to switch to race pads for track days but keep your street pads for auto-x. You will never get a race pad to heat up enough to work properly during a short auto-x run.

Will write out my opinion on them once they are in.

Well..more like $95. That's how much i got my AP1 pads for (shipped) from hondaautomotiveparts.com. Cant beat them for street driving since I HATE dust. Ceramics dont dust very much..so that's how i roll. Race pads for the track, though.

OEM is fine like wine... and i have noticed that my rims get all sorts of caked up with dust compared to my friends AP1's... hmmmm
