you need to hit it with a punch and drive it out....there are special punces with like a half sphere in the center that are for this they work good but you don't need them....just get the right diameter punch and whack away

The AC compresssor mount bolts are perfect for that job.

On another note, glad to see you finally have the right name GREMICE/Grimace.

lol...I have a concrete drill got that fits the pin perfectly, it stays in my tool box next to my 3lb sledge hammer.

BTW that 3lb sledge is one of the most awesome helper tools in my tool box.

I ran into the same problem when doing my swap. Check out the thread that I made, got some pretty good responses there:

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1993271

I tried the c-clamp method, AC compressor bolt, all different types of punches, but the pin didn't want to come out. So I ended up ordering a tool from Matco tools specifically designed to remove the shift pin.

Go to http://matcotools.com/ and search for this part number: MST6455

Took about 3 hits with a BFH and in 5 seconds it was out. It always helps when you have the right tools!

Having autozone, advance etc. rent out that punch would be such a time (and money) saver. Petition time!
