My bro has a B20Z swap in his EG. His motor skips between 1k and 3k rpms.
His setup consists of:
-B20Z
-Skunk2 manifold
-B&M fuel regulator and gauge(39psi)
-intake
-cat back exhaust
-94 LS computer

Does anyone have any clue why it may due this?

maybe when he replace the intake manifold...he has a leak somewhere??? check the trottle body...and between the intake gasket.

 

What do you mean by skips? Can you be a little more specific?

 

The motor hesitates when you give it the gas(full throttle) in that rpm range.

 

Any suggestions???????

 

go to the Import shop and let professionals check it out..

Cant always rely on internet guru's..

 

be certain that you have the proper throttle body gasket, and proper intake manifold gasket. if that doesn't do it, replace the fast idle valve on the back of the intake manifold.
