Default GSR swap into ef .....mount problems PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swapped a gsr into a 1991 civic dx, I have done all of the swap incld the wiring but for some reason the rear motor mount bracket will not line up with trans. It looks to me as the mounts are sitting wrong, gsr motor,b16 tranny ....

I am looking for some suggestions on what he might have to do...

I told him already to buy hasports and not ebay ones like he did, and then we our going to try again but, just trying to get some input thanks

Ran into that same problem recently. The stock mount uses 3 bolts, 2 at the rear and one at the front. You'll have to remove that and move the mount over (towards the drivers side) to the next bolt hole. You will only be using 2 bolts at this point cause there is no hole on the crossmember for the 2nd rear bolt. I notched my hole on the mount cause its a bitch trying to catch the bolt unto the crossmember through the hole on the mount. It was easier to catch the bolt in the crossmember first then slide the mount unto that.

You then use the 90-91 DA bracket to mount the tranny to the stock rubber mount.
If I missed anything then someone correct me.

im doing the same swap and got HASport mounts. I've been using their instructions and so far, it's been working well.

http://hasport.com/tech/installs/EFB2.htm

that's for a hydro tranny, if your tranny is cable, look at the EFB1 instructions.

make sure you have a rear bracket from a DA, and mount the new rear tranny mount to the holes that are closest to the driver's side of the car.

HASPORT IS THE WAY TO GO..........
