i have an ls vtec with stock ls internals can i put cams in it and be safe ?

 

should be fine with type r's but anything more you will need more compression and deeper valve pockets. Be careful with your cam timing.

type r cams should be fine on a gsr head.

 

S2S1's are ok on stock valvetrain, but I would at least have it street tuned. ITR's and CTR's are preferable though. Good luck.
