middle rocker arm wear?

Default middle rocker arm wear?

well i took my cams out of my h22 today and this is what i saw from my exhuast side middle rocker arm

waht could cause this? too tight of a valve lash adjustment? note: this is stock cams with supertech valve train

Yes, you will not get full valve lift in VTEC. Not to mention the added friction losses

For some reason, H22's like to eat rocker arms with stiffer valve springs. Endyne blamed their famed H22 fiasco on worn rocker arms.

so theres no way in solvin this problem there has to be some one chime in help pleasei have supertech valve train and this only happened on the exhuast side

ive seen on here where other h22 owners have the same problem. some say it may be the material there made of,or lack of oil supply, but for what ever reason i havent seen anyone come up with a solution

lubrication problem or lacking of lubrication
Endyn sells a kit which basically supplies more oil to the head and can help problems like this. if memory serves me right, the kit is a sandwhich plate with -6an line straight to the head.

my b16 did that and rounded off some type r cams. i got new ones and theres a huge diffrence in power. Turns out my Crower springs were not real crowers 375 psi spring pressure I put in R ones and its fine now.

I just pulled an H22 head from a customer's car that did the same thing. Stock type S cams with Super Tech springs and retainers. It's a MHR head, so I am sure that everything was checked during assembly. I will be doing some teardown to determine. The intake side was fine and cylinders 2 and 4 exaust were fine, so I am suspicious of an oiling issue.
