Default HASPORT mount: auto to 5 speed conversion

I finally just bought the last piece of my conversion..... I bought it on ebay the guy claims 100% that it is a HASPORT mount and says its stamped on top.

however i was looking at the HASPORT site at the conversion mount and they look slightly different.

I have seen no name brands that look completely different from HASPORT.

What are your opinions is it legit, will it work? thanks - Josh :D

i highly doubt that the one you bought off of ebay is a knock off. looking at the phots provided, i can see the hasport engravings. and comparing the two they look exactly the same to me.

what look off to you?

^The only difference I can tell is that the one from Hasport's website doesn't have "Hasport" engraved on it...

I bought mine directly from Hasport and it has Hasport engraved on it.

It should work.

When I did my swap, everything that I had read about it didn't include anything about an auto to manual swap, so I tried mounting a stock Integra transmission mount. After about 45 minutes of fighting it I got on Honda-Tech and found out it was wrong and ordered the right one.

Anyways, without the right mount the engine will sit higher on the passenger side of the car...high enough that the valve cover will rub your hood

EDIT: And on the background of the one that you bought, the box says "EGAMH"...that's what mine said if I remember correctly

worse comes to worse put it in and use a level to see how your motor is sitting if you cant do it visually.

To be honest with you, mine seems to make the tranny sit higher IMO, but its nothing anyone can pinpoint and say is not right, or just incorrect period..

its up to you tho.
