Default injector sizing in correlation to psi and hp rating. . ?

hey guys.
i have an 18g and dsm 450's for injectors.

i want to make 300 whp and i was thinking if these 450's are able to make the power. i figure around 17 - 18 psi will make that power.

what would my duty cycle be at? would it be safe? would 550's be better or would the 450's be able to hold up to it?

thanks!!!

uhhhhhh depends on what motor.... BSFC helps alot...

and what build, and how your base AFR comes out, etc... lots of variables; seems obtainable....

yeah i don't know. whatever. lol. i just wanted to know if these 450's will be able to hold up to the job.

i mean, this guy is selling me rc 550's for dirt cheap, but i want to make sure i'll need them before i buy them. if the 450s will suffice, then i won't buy the 550s because i'm kinda of tight on the money issue. but if i need it then whatever.

if anyway can give me an answer with an explanation, i'll love you forevarrrr

I would think you would need more than your 450's from my calculations. Maybe try playing around with these calculators for some help.

http://kgparts.com/index.php?page=fuel-calc

with the dsm 450's and a safe duty you would max out before hitting your 300 with a turbo. NA would be closer with the 450's.
