how do you tell what cams you have?

Default how do you tell what cams you have?

Ok, sorry to post this in the FI section, but this seems like the only section where people actually know anything.. Anyway, just bought a set of cams with a head, don't trust the person at all, how do I tell what they actually are? Supposedly gsr, but they could be b16 cams, what do you look for?

search for cam identification, im being lazy now, but true way is to break out the dial caliper and measure.

most cam identification is based on the journal side opposite the cam gear...

Do you mean at the other end of the cam? The only thing that looks like any kind of marking that I see is something that looks like a "c" in the middle of the cams.

this is so ghey..
