Will all D series head gaskets interchange? And if so, is there one that gives more compression points over the others?

 

d16y8 headgasket is thinnest oem . yes it will interchange.

 

How does the 92-95 Si headgasket compare in the pecking order? FYI--this is for a D16a6 motor.

 

I bought new Greddy Headgasket and it is 2.0 mm thick.. I ask the guy how thick the stock headgasket and it is .5 mm thick.. Boy, I can tell the different because I look at the Greddy HEadgasket and it is so thick... I probably sell it because I think I dont need it anymore... Good Luck

 

those greddy gaskets r for turbo use. thats why.

d16z6 and y8 r thinnest. just go y8..on hondaautomotiveparts.com the y8 is cheaper anyway

 

That's true.. You right.. That's why I need thick headgasket and so I can crank up the boost...
