steering pin problem??
My steering wheel tilts to the left and when i drive with my steering wheel in its normal position i am turning right. Does a pin need to be adjusted to fix this? thanks
Unless the steering wheel or another part of the steering was removed it shouldn't be like that.
You can unbolt the clamp on the pinion on the steering linkage universal joint, pull it off of the pinion, then turn the wheel and put it back on the pinion to get it straight again. It's part #5 on the drawing below (those parts are under your dash). I don't remember if the top or bottom is easier to pop off, but one of them is pretty easy. Remove the bolt all the way out of the clamp to pop the pinion out.
