Default my welder died ?@%#$@ ?%$#@%?#$ @&%#$@&% #$#@ 6 months old

yup my welder dies on me right in the middle of working on the teggy !

it reved up and down and then the fan died. then went back to normal and the trgger on the gun wouldent work so then i got it to work by messing with the hose on it ,but kept shorting out !

so i took it in and told the dudes today i wanted a new one and they told me i have to send this one in I then said why ? i fucken only had this welder for 6 months and the guy in alberta told me that i have free replacement for a year ! and then 5 year parts and labor .WTF

then he said that thats another branch and has nothing to do with me ! and ive never heard of anyone getting a new welder .....

so it was sent to winnipeg today and i wont have it back for 4 days to a week
he ALLSO said that i might even be stuck with the bill if its something for regular use .....Bullshit

they had a bran new welder sitting there and wouldent give it too me .I should have just grabbed it and ran .haha
AcklandsGrainger can suck my DINK

this is why you shouldent buy from butt plug little company's ,they just want your money and stick you with the repair bill

hobart blows allso .Ive heard a few things about there stuff and thought it was from people not takeing care of them ....guess i was wrong

Call corporate and ask to talk to some one in customer service. Be nice, until its time to not be nice. Don't start cussing them the minute they pick up the phone.

My handler is 4yrs old, never had a problem. Even though a brand name product can be "good" there can still be problems depending on whom ever assembled it/QC/ect.

I had a bad habit of moving the welder around with the welding cable. So it pulled the hose for the main gas feed off the nipple on the welder. Turns out the copper crimp and special fitting on the welder is a non-replaceable piece. SO I cut the clamp and soldered a lug on the main wire and bolted it to the welder and the hose is exposed so I can fix it when I do something stupid like drag the welder around the frame jig by the hose.

Nothing major, just annoying.

lol ,ive never done that .seems kinda lazy haha .like wlking the welder or something haha ,clever how you fixed it on your own

well i heard about my welder and i guess the welder had a high curcuit short causeing the torch to fry

and guess what ..... the damn thing isnt covered cost 200 to repair the welder and rebuild the gun!!!! ...................fucken bullshit if i don't say myself !!! it was a problem with the welder and not from me and i have too pay for it ? doesn't that not make any sense what so ever !

i asked the guy why i have to pay for it and he said well its because you didn't buy it through us. I was like what do you mean not through you ? it was the same damn store ! Just in a diffrent province ! He then said well its a diffrent branch and they would have to pay for it and not us !

I was then like that doesn't make any sense ! I worked in alberta for months and every bank is a diffrent branch and i could still do my banking from where ever and wouldent have any issues so why are you dinking me around ???

he then said well i'll give the head office a call and see if i can get it covered for you since you did just buy it and it is still under the warrenty !

so now i just have to wait for a call and see whats up .oh and it will be here tomorow !

i'm not paying a cent ! i shouldent have too .

get in contact with someone at miller and let them know your situation.

i did the same and they gave me the option to get a new replacement 200dx instead of getting it fixed.
