Default Glad to be here

Hello everyone I’ve been doing my own repairs since I was 19 and I’m 36 now but when I was 18 I had a 1996 Ford explore and the transmission went out so I bought a new/rebuild and paid a mechanic to put it in it ended up costing me around 2500 but it took me about two weeks to get up the cash and I paid the shop and when I got in my explorer and cranked it up I noticed that I had no oil pressure so I turned it off and went back inside and told him he said that it would be fine that it’s just because its been sitting so what do I know I’m just an 18 who didn’t know anything about mechanic work so I got back in and started going home and I didn’t even make it a mile and a half down the road and the motor blows up I was so mad and from that point on I started doing all my own work
