What is a Code 48?

Just bought a '92 VX HB and it thru an engine code this morning. It was 4 long lights, pause, 8 short lights. I assume this is a 48. Can anyone tell me what that is as I don't have a manual yet. Thanks.

I believe it's "Primary Heated O-2 Sensor"

Some one in another forum posted that it was, "LAF......Lean air fuel sensor."

defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

only valid for VTEC-E engines i assume

I take it you got a vx?
