Default please help on this engine code

i have a 98 hx and i failed the emission because of an engine code. it is throwing out code 48 which is the lean air fuel sensor... do i have to replace the o2 sensor? i'm sort of lost and i would appreciate it if someone can help. thanks

That codes pointing to a problem with the primary o2 sensor or circuit. That's an expensive one.
