NEED HELP!!! weird noise

Default NEED HELP!!! weird noise

my car in the mornings has just started making a loud whistle when i rev above 2 or 3 rpm its loud and sounds like something grinding or lose i dunno please help it sounds like crap but it goes away after a lil driving or i just cant hear it anymore

ive check my oil just incase see if its low its still gold but its way above the first hole coming down actualy when i pulled the dip stick out the whole thing had oil on it can this be it TOO much oil? i dunno please help

Put your car in neutral, pull the e-brake, and rev the engine using the throttle body. Try and pinpoint where the noise is coming from. There could be nearly anything causing that noise, so it's near impossible to give a justified reason as to why it's making noises.

ive done that and i realy can pin point it it almost most likely sounds like its coming from the engine it self but it also sound like it could be electrical whistle

if you have an after market stereo system. it could be a bad ground. if it sounds like u have a really ******* big turbo when u rev then thats probably what it is.

What did you do check your oil while the car was running?

realy i do have a aftermarket sterio but it stops i would think it would continue

and no i didnt check the oil while it was running

Well if you have oil all the way up the dipstick... usually not good...

I'd say take it to the dealer, it sounds like your over your head, IMO. :shrugs:
