Default Car Starts then dies

My 97 Accord w/ H22a will start fine every time. Sometimes after I start it it will die. If I keep some pressure on the gas it is fine, otherwise it will die. So I thought maybe something with fuel pump or idle? These are just guesses as I am not knowledgable with cars all that much. Usually after the car runs for a while its ok. The weird thing is that when I leave for work in the morning I'm fine until I hit the 2nd stop sign, then it dies. Starts right back up then fine. When I leave work sometimes it will start/die/start/die other times it will start right up and be fine. Would I have a bad plug, something wrong with idle sensor?

Is it just that the car needs to warm up? Just started doing this in the past week or so.

when is the last time you had your car tuned? Also it could be an alternator...you wanna get it checked out soon its not good for the engine to continue to drive on it if something is wrong, because it will only get worse

Are you chipped....if so ill take it its a p28....if your chipped what chip & program did you tune with, hondata s200 s300 ect, Chrome....also I'm using a external MSD blaster coil....sometimes it will come loose of course causing engine failure....are you running the Accord dizzy or prelude dizzy....if your running the prelude dizzy the internal coil maybe going bad....I went with the accord dizzy and external coil after i went thru my 2nd prelude dizzy....like $190+ not including core, the accord dizzy's are much cheaper.

What ecu are you using for the setup? You won't be able to see physically if it is the coil. Honda distributors usually got bad internally.

Check your main relay and, fuel pump, and ignition coil first.

ok heres why I spent the extra cash for the external coil....I dont trust Autozone with anything and Orielly's is only in the event of an emergency, I will only shop at Advance Auto Parts....here is a Lifetime Replacement warranty Dizzy from Advance.... http://www.partsamerica.com/pr...Set=A ....check some of the others and go from there....but really consider the external coil man.

I believe it's the P13 ecu. I also have an MSD Blaster 2 coil as I am running an MSD SCI ignition. All wires are snug and connections are all fine.

Could this all be due to weather getting colder or do I have a problem with something? Possibly in store for new plugs and wires?
