10 seconds maybe a little far pitched . but im looking at upgrading to Type R cam's OBD1 Type R Intake Manifold. ect ect i was told 180 HP by just doing that.... what other mod's is there i can do ? what is the most this engine can handle ....

Get Omni's B16 DVD to get an idea of what a B16 can do, done properly.

 

if i can get 13's then ill probably be happy .. probably have to boost it tho

 

u can hit 13's in a light car with a modded engine. but to run 10's with an n/a b16 ur looking at some serious work. i mean its hard enough to make 200whp with a b16 let alone enough to propell u into the 10's.

 

yeah i got a light *** EF so it should help out alot.. just need some sugestions things i can do to help make it to 12's if say

 

either go boost or build the hell out of it and run slicks. theres a hell of alot more than just weight and hp that can determine ur quarter mile times. for one elevation is a biotch cause the elevation will starve your motor. bolt ons alone will not get u into the 12's.

 

at this point a first gen b16 is tired and probably on it's last leg. ditch the block for a b18c and you're on your way to happyland.

as for ITR cams nd IM in a b16 ... i'd say you'll be lucky to hit 13s

 

thats *NFG* lol my b16 aint tired. not yet anyways. i guess ill have to look at getting a b18 .. it pretty much sums it up b16 isnt possible..
