Default i have an extra 7 inch monitor.....

i have an extra 7 inch monitor..and well im wanting to put tachs in my car... where my car was a DX with a auto transmission and converted over to 5 speed... it had no rpm tach. so im wanting to put one of them in id also liek to see and watch my volts and my oil pressure etc. etc. ive seen it on like dyno places and stuff.. and some people have even done away with all tachs together and use 1 single LCD monitor to watch these gauges... i dont want no sound system in my car (hence no cd player) id prolly find a way to mount of fiberglass my extra monitor in there so i can keep an eye on things at a quick glance.. does anybody know how this is done.. ud prolly have to have a computer with software running for it to inturrpret these signals on a program and display an image. i mean id rather have 1 monitor as opposed to like 4 or 5 tachs on my a pillar. i looked on google and searched but it came coming up with the wrong stuff.

wow wall of text.

you may want to throw some spaces in there, paragraphs, makes it easier to read.

monitors are usually used for tuning, not to replace guages.

they do make LCD systems that can replace your dash instruments, i believe they're about 8-900 on the cheap end.

i'm sure someone here will be nice enough to provide links.
