Door Speakers - Best Budget Speakers? Amp Required? Or just buy nice speakers
Just started building my system. Im going to have 2 Audiobahn aw1206t subs and a TXA1000D amp to power them in a ported 6 cube box. SO Im thinkin its gonna be pretty bassy
I also like to HEAR the lyrics clearly though, for my rock/metal songs.
Can anyone inform me on a budget set of speakers to make the music sound well? I dont have much money to buy the best of the best, but Id like to hear what people are saying about specific brand and such.
I also think I may need an amp to power these speakers. Does an amp added additionally to door speakers make THAT big of a difference?
I dont really want to deal with crossovers and such as I never have before and would like to install this all myself easily.
I was considerring just buying some Infinity Kappas or another name brand locally and buying a cheaper audiobahn 4 chanel amp to power them. But Im open to solutions
I would defientely like to know if an amp is necesary though, because that adds a lot more difficulty to the install for me. Or if I should just spend the money on a nicer LOUD speaker and hook it up to no amps and just run off the H/U
Thanks
Kevin

Best bang for the buck in my opinion are the alpine type S coaxials.
With the amount of bass you're going to be having I would definitely get a good (non-audiobahn) 4 channel amp to power them, that way your door speakers will be able to keep up

Yeah I was thinking the alpine type and type r's looked pretty good, and you dont need any crossovers which is good.
Do wire an amp to door speakers, I would need do quite a bit of wiring right?

Please please please do yourself a favor and get components. Wiring up a passive crossover is not hard whatsoever. It's simply an extra piece that needs to be wired up. Any bonehead can do it, believe me.
Your front stage will be infinitely more important than your bass, so don't be cheap because you'll only regret it in the end.

I was thinking of getting 4 of these 6.5 cadence speakers. I can get them for much less than cost. I can also get a 400W 4 chanel cadence amp for them.
Are these speakers any good and will 50 watts rms be enough to make them sound very nice?
Thanks guys
