need new tire for my 07 si
anyone on here have a stock michellin tire from there si i can buy from them. Not even 5k miles on em and i already got a fawking nail in the sidewall. i know this sh ould be in the wanted sectino but thought i would get more feedback in this section. anywayz let me know if you have one. michellin 215/45/17 hx mxm4 tire.

ahah well who did it urself?...im 100% sure ur not suppose to patch or plug the sidewall. not very safe. i would just go to honda and tell them u need another tire.

nah my pops works at sams club and he got one of his buddies in the tire shop to hook it up for me. worked fine.

I would never trust a sidewall patch job.
I had the same exact issue. I got a screw at 5k miles. I just wound up getting one new tire from Costco. The other option is to find someone selling just 1 wheel/tire combo. There wasn't anything like that and I needed to drive my car. So a new tire was my only option.

maybe in an emergency situation i'd do it, but agreed- it's not very practical to patch a sidewall and continue to use the tire.

yea shops said they cant repair it because its outside the belt, the nail is keeping the tire patched bc of the way its in there, but eventually it will wiggle its way out.
