my sub is chattering and making weird noises
i have a 12 inch premire sub
its powered by a rockford amp
it went through a car accident but everything was still working fine
and then it started making weird noises
i know the coil isnt burnt out
but its not as loud as it was and is making that weird noise
any ideas??

Remove sub from box and inspect box for damage, do manual tests on sub to check for damage, if you have a multimeter, check subs VCs Re.
