how do you guys store your filler rod
i made mine with 1.5" pvc with caps and label the ends.then us plywood with holes.would like to see how every one else does it.the way i have mine set up it takes up alot of room on top of my welder.i was thinking of a way that i could hang them from my rafters
Same here, but they are only capped on the bottom.
I built a little rack to store them vertical next to my welding table.
I would rather store them horizontal to prevent dust from getting on them, so I just wipe them off before tigging.

i've not seen tig filler stored in a heater. i've seen 6013 SMAW rods in a heater and other SMAW rods, but not tig filler.
i usually just keep them in the box they came in on a rack above my welding table so they are within close reach.

Yes, Anything with flux already in it should be stored in at least a dry place.
I like it when Tig rod comes in those nice durable plastic containers. I had to get some local one time and it came in a flimsy *** cardboard box. That's what the PVC is usually used for.
