Default Flattened rod cap?

Partial throttle cruise in 5th at ~5,100 RPM (just shy of 80mph).

Stock Y7 bottom end.

Don't know what the rest of the engine looks like (other than a hole in the block). Pulling it and tearing it down on Friday.

Yep. I'm wondering why it flattened out.

Not too bad though. Lasted 95k of granny driving, then I got it and beat the **** out of it for the last 75k.

Only other pics I have are of the hole in the block. My SMSP header survived with only a tiny ding.

Wouldn't have been a big deal. Just send it to Dave and have him fix it, but I am hoping to run it at the track sometime next week if my work schedule will allow it.
