i have a 92 honda accord lx for three year and it always had start up problems. But just yesterday my car wouldn't start again, except this time, instead of making a click noise like it wouldn't turn over, it's making sounds like it's on the verge of turning over but not quite there yet. in other words, i can heard it turning but the process could not complete. Can anybody tell me what the problems is? I also unplug the spark plug wires and found that three out of four have oil on them so i assume that's a head gasket leak, could this be the problem. Any help is appreciated.

 

check ur starter, it might be out, mine did and did had a really weak starting, take it to advance auto, they test for FREE

 

Sounds like a starter problem.

 

defenitely sounds like starter next time if does it beat on it with a hammer acouple time then see what happens, oil on plugs normally from i believe on your engine lower tube seals. defienitly not the starting prob though.
