Default tensioner...

my timing belt, water pump and tensioner finally came in

question now is.. there's only "one nut" that holds the tensioner( the big one in the center) but from the service manual.. it says adjust to 33lb-ft for adjustment only, do not remove... do i still remove it? i don't see how i can get the tensioner off without removing that

and the tensioner doesn't move as freely as i expected.. like there's a lot of drag.. smooth through.. does it need to be lubed?

this is my first time dealing with a tensioner.. please pardon the noob questions about it

Why do you need to replace your tensioner?

you can take it off if you need to replace it. i done it plenty of times with no problem. just dont torque it too hard cause it will break.
