Got a shop to put in a test pipe a while back. They just zip tied the O2 sensor out of the way. Well I waited for the CEL to come on.....and waited....and waited. Now its been over 1,000mi with over 15-20 runs at the drag strip. Is this just one of the Super ITR's amazing powers or is it supposed to do this. Thanks in advance.

 

I had my 2nd O2 sensor in a jar in my passanger foot well for weeks...no CEL. I even passed emissions with it there.

 

I did the exact same thing. I got a test pipe and wrapped my O2 with tinfoil and then electrical tape. Then zip tied it to a pole. NO CEL !!!!!

I had it for 3500 miles already!

 

man you guys are lucky, if i even touch my cat i get a cel

 

how do you do this??? i am installing my header and carsound cat, and i don't want to throw any cel's... especially 67.

hxman, where did you pass emissions??

 

I had mine zip-tied and it only threw a code on nights below 40 degrees.
