I'm gonna cage up my Miata and am looking for a good builder. Car is for road racing purposes so looking for people who know what they're doing.

I dont think 1320Fab is around anymore but I can make you a cage for about $150. You just have to paint the PVC piping yourself though...unless you like white.

several fab shops in Infineon does great work too. and many v8/hot rod places... you just have to ask and discuss. but for Miata, the specmiata.com ( i thitnk that's the one ) makes a pre-bent weld in kit that's pretty sweet. for like $1000. you have SP in your sig. doesn't RZ do cages too? i've seen some of their fab stuff and looks great. DTR/SSR does great cromo cages. Danny FTW!

Called Danny and he doesnt want to work on Miata's. RZ builds mostly drag cages. Just went to TC Design today and it doesnt look too bad. Waiting to call Mike Lock on Monday and I'll decide from there.

actually Jon, we build any cage to any spec for any car.....we are going to start on a road race cage in 2 weeks...and we have already done a world challenge cage.....

......I can see why the perception of drag cage comes to mind....we only have one car in the shop right now with a cage and its a drag car....

and we did an NHRA legal cage for Mark......but then decided to road race the car and we were going to change a few things but the car was sold so he could go to flight school.....

If I was to recommend anyone other then us...it would be Mike Lock......I have seen his work and his cages....great work, great cage...I have seen them work too......and it works great in an impact....
