exactly the same

this is why all the parts are interchangeable

(no, they are not the same at all, they have never been the same)

ROFFLES!

Nope. A civic will never have a 2.2L engine. And a civic is smaller than the Accord. Therefore, no...

I'd like to note I wasn't trying to be mean.

Just sarcastic to the 10th degree.

1) same motor in both 4/2 door cars (civics and accords) they didn't change them for that
2) you don't make note of the year at all
3) why would they have the same motor
4) what made you think they did?

civic's have been like 1.6L or 1.8L at most

Accords are 2.2 starting for the most part

There wasn't a lot of thought process before the post

i just wanna say no there wasnt much thought put into this and i hardly ever work on accords so i have no idea but im getting one tomorrow... its a 95 lx sedan 2.2L and i dont know what to do to get the most HP out of it w/o swapping, strapped for cash atm... so i figured i could just pull a honda civic engine and swap it that way for easier tuning... guess not......

haha no sir,

if you're looking for a motor swap for an accord

h22 from a prelude is essentially a direct bolt in, and 95 is OBDI so you're good to go tuning wise

you should also do some searching about turbos

Boosting an H22? i heard those engines are a little to weak to turbo... if its possible, and with a decent amount of boost(more than 5 to 7 punds), that engine could really pull hard!!!

Turbo the F = ~ $1000-1500 (depends on what you buy)

Swap the H = ~ $2000 or so (depends on who does it/etc)

$150 sounds to good to be true, so it probably is. Check what year and model Prelude it is. If it's a 92-95 Prelude S don't bother. It has a SOHC F22A1 and that's pretty much what you have in your Accord.

If it is an H22 for $150 It will probably need about $1000 worth of parts to get it running. The only on the cheap H I found was up in the $500-$750 range. That was bare bones nothing included. No sensors, equipment or ECU.
