I just bought a test pipe and when my friend tried installing it, we saw that my car had 2 o2 sensors on the cat. The test pipe only has one o2 bung. What have you guys done to resolve this issue? Can I go to a muffler shop to have them weld on a second o2 bung? Thanks in advance!

Mostly, but you can also just zip-tie the secondary O2 out of the way, or unplug it. You're going to throw a CEL for it even if you install it in the test pipe.

 

i will be putting a test pipe on my 98 this next weekend, I have washers/spacers to bring the 02 further from the test pipe, my buddy did it on his 99GSR and didn't throw a CEL

 

Yes, many people have been successful at eliminating the CEL by spacing the O2 sensor or installing an O2 sensor simulator.

You have a 98 gsr? What did you do about your second o2?
