b20vtec turbo questions

Default b20vtec turbo questions

just wondering i am gunna be puting a b20vtec turbo in a ek hatch and wondering if it would be safe to rev to what the head flows to its a gsr head so 8200 on a stock gsr the motor is pritty much stock other then a jb elderbroc intake manifold, arp headstuds, cometic headgasket, and a blockguard pistons and rods are stock so would it be safe to rev to 8200? or i could use a b16 wich would you perfer b16 would be bone stock nothing other then a turbo kit

revving a stock b20 bottom end higher than it's original rev limit is not a smart idea, vtec head or not.

so what would be a better idea b20vtec or b16 goal is 300hp

buy arp rod bolts for ur b20 rods and rev it to 8200 u should be safe
