Anyone heard of DC's tearing at subframe? or is it more common with the civics?

I know this should most likely be in the suspension forum, but it seems to be moving slowly these days. Have any of you heard of an integra tearing at the subframe with a 22mm rear bar, or is it just the civics? Im considering the BSQ kit, and Im running a stock ITR suspension (not super stiff). The car will see some track time. Should I stick with stock GSR bars just to be safe?. (I dont want to run the larger braces) Thanks.

OUCH. I knew they were out there. Thanks guys you made the descision a lot easier
One of my friends rear sub frame mounts ripped off from running a thick bar. I know you need to reinforce a big to run the bigger sways but just in the rear.

I know its more likely to happen on the ek's.....mine tore a little bit on my DC2, but the damage was actually really minor compared to others and I was only using a 19mm neuspeed rear sway bar kit.
Here's what it looked like...

and this is what I did to fix it....(thanks to Redzone for the help)

I'd use the bsq kit or get the asr brace just to play things safe!

I've been using an ITR 22mm bar with either BSQ or Beaks kit for over 4 years without a problem.

that's really wierd. you've basically got a stock ITR setup. Why the hell would it tear the subframe out? I think those other guys may have been running thicker/stiffer bars than the ITR. Or maybe they were running them on a very stiff setting (adjustable links). I've never heard of stock ITRs tearing out subframe links.

The ITR's have a beefier subframe.

If you mount an ITR bar to the stock GS-R swaybar mounts (which puts the bar out away from the subframe), then yes, it will most definitely tear the subframe over time.
ITR's have their bar mounted directly on the subframe, which is thicker than a GS-R subframe. So you likewise you have to mount the bar in a similar fashion, directly on the subframe with something to beef up the mount points (BSQ or Beaks is perfectly adequate, or ASR).
