Brake Pad squeal lube

Default Brake Pad squeal lube

Do i apply it on the back of the pads or inbetween the thin shin and the pad.. or both?

Between the back of the pad and piston of the caliper.

cause the lube says apply on metal to metal contact.. isn't the shim and the brake pad metal to metal contact? .. i believe u.. just curious

The piston and back of the pad are metal. You can put some on the shim if you like, can't hurt.

check the sliders too. maybe put some lube on them if they are dirty or dry
