man im about to shoot this car with a 50 cal, right in the block..im soooo frustrated. I have a b20vtec with a blox intake manifold. I dont know know whats wrong with this car. it will not stay on. i tried eveything i know but this car is killin me..lol.
when i crank it, it cuts on then cuts off. sometimes it will stay on and then the idle goes from 2-3k. ive check for leaks cleaned the FITV and the IACV. im lost and ready to give up on this hatch.

How Long does it stay on for? 10 seconds?
might be wired run, I found this problem out when wiring my alarm/car starter.
I don't remember the details either sorry
something along the lines of the starter will only run the engine for 10 seconds, than go to the second stage of ignition (Aux, Run, Ignition)?

does it idle at all? check the map/tps connectors.. might be switched..

 

^^^^yup, I agree with him, I had same prob on my ls vtec....i had them switched

 

Check your fuel pump fuse lol
