who has BENT a clutch release fork???
i had an over rev put a new clutch ,throw out bearing in and still wont go into gear...im thinkin the clutch fork is the problem and im tryin to see how common it is
did u have the same exact problem before the clutch was put in?
If so i wouldn't say the fork is bent i would say something in the trany isn't right.
If there is something wrong with the trany i wounld't drive to much on your new clutch cause u will wear it out so fast, cost more money.

ok if you read what jdmegmong said
I observed the throwout bearing was barley making contact with the clutch fingers.
thats what i mean if u or someone else replaced the throw out bearing someone would of noticed , my opnion its in the tranny possible bearing inside the trany

my tranny is out for the 2nd time in a week..i dont wanna put it back in till i have a good idea of what may be wrong
First
check if u can turn the shaft easily on the tranny
Second
check the play between the clutch and throw out bearing (the fork its self how much play)
Third
check all the hydro connections mounted on the outside of the transmission the tranny itself, make sure they are all connected and not bent
Forth
check pilot bearing
And if u have done all this, I'd call someone who knows about trannys and he needs to look at this up close and personal to get a hands on at this situation

thanks for the help but ive done all this and they all check out ok...my buddie is a tech at honda and weve took the case off the tranny and it looks good...shifts smoothly and shaft turns with ease...nothing leaks in the hydrolics and the pilot bearing is not frozen and seems in good shape...so the only thing i can think of is the fork is bent and is not pushing on the pressure plate enough....the old pressure plate was toast when i took it off..it lost a pin and was floppin around inside the housing...even scored up the inside of the case...nothin major though
