whats the cheapest most sufficant turbo?
im looking to maybe turbo or supercharge my jdm b16a its already built so im lookin into forced induction so my ? is whats the cheapest but most efficent turbo and the bare minimum to run it properly with a sufficant gain for the buck or is more sufficent to by a greddy turbo kit with all the housing and pipeing and intercooler kit for around 2200 bucks to me a used supercharger is much cheaper and an easy install and i dont have to buy excess gauges except maybe a boost controller and air.fuel ratio gauge plz inputs on this subject

As for turbo kits, anyone you find piece together is not going to be better then piecing one together yourself.

no im saying the answer i got was buying a super 60 which to my knowledge is only a turbine with no plummin or anything now my car is n/a so just buying a super 60 wouldnt do **** would it cuz u cant just have a turbine and no plumming or and intercooler

You can get an inexpensive manifold, use no intercooler, and use a decently-sized turbo, and still have quick spool time and the same IAT's (air temp).
If you choose to run your turbo w/o any charge piping, you get ZERO performance increase (actually less due to restriction), and also will ruin the turbo - it will spin at crazy RPM's if its allowed to freewheel, especially if you don't have oil supplied to it.

ur only wasting ur time if u reply to it and i know a greddy turbo kit runs around 1700 or 1600 plus another 800 for lets say and intercooler kit and then on top of that gauges and install ect... were a used supercharger is around 800 bucks or new 1800... yet the only gauge i would need is a boost controller and maybe a air/fuel ratio gauge... with a cheaper install or if i find the time put it in myself wouldnt that be the best way to go or do hondas have heating issues when supercharged?
ok. first of all like they said previously research. ur questions are makin no sense and u obviously dont even know how a turbo or supercharger works. all u will need is a boost controller for a supercharger? boost is controlled by the pulley size on the supercharger, boost is constant. its unecessary to have a boost controller for a supercharger. and no u can get a turbo kit for as cheap as 700 shipped if u have ur own crew to install it correctly.
really whats a site for a turbo kit for 700 or a little more that actully gives noticable power gains and is reliable id love to read up on this... and actully i do know how superchargers work as well as cynthetic chargers and for a little better tunning a boost controll is optional..

I learned all my **** by reading this site before it went to ****. made decent power halfway reliably on parts i picked up for next to nothing. with a little reading and some creativity you can have a turbo setup on your car. but no one is going to baby you to get their. a couple days of REALLY good searching on the net will answer all the questions, if you don't have that time then better off not even turbo charging.
