hey i just registered so i dont know any of you guys. but i was hoping you could help. i have a 95 accord with the sohc vtech 2.2 l motor and it currently will not engage vtech. my oil light will flash sparaticly and the temp gauge will peg the car will not rev higher than 3.5rpm ish and its killing me to not really know whats causing this. oh yeah there is an oil leak but i dont know where it is from.

 

It sounds like your oil leak needs to get fixed, VTEC will not work if oil is low, your oil light flicker is telling you there is an oil pressure problem, it your oil level is full then the damage is already done. You are going to need to get a direct pressure reading gage and hook it up where the pressure sensor is and see what is actually going on in there.

Get the leak fixed too if your motor is not already toast.
