If i get the 98-01 JDM B18C its OBD2B and it will be plug and play rite?

But if I get a 94-95 it will be OBD1

and if i get a 96-97 then it will be OBD2A

so if i get a OBD1 or OBD2A B18C i will have to do some wiring like the V-Tec, Knock sensor and more so does anyone hook me up with a wiring diagram and pics would be sweet pls and thx

I have a 97 civic DX and swapping a JDM OBD2 B18C1.

I am using a USDM P72 ECU OBD2A. I am using OBD2A Civic EX harness from a 96-98 Honda Civic. I am modifying the harness to have the GSR IAB's and secondary o2 sensor. Also, extending a few wires if needed. Thats's it.

Your setup should be very similar. If you require an obd1 setup, then get the same stuff I have but get a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness to use with a obd1 ecu.

Your car is an OBD2A. I suggest go for a JDM ITR '98 Spec (B18C). It is also an OBD2A.

My car is an OBD2B. I dropped in the above engine, but didn't change the harness. It all plugs into the proper sensors with the exception of the AIT sensor.

For the ECU, I use Crome w/ a chipped P30 or the AEM EMS.

96-01 is all OBD2 and will work with either a or b harnesses, but you will need the USDM GSR OBD2a ECU and an conversion harness if u have a b car. the USDM GSR OBD2b ECU has an immobilizer built into it that needs the ignition and key from the car it was in. good luck there! I have a 99 civic EX sedan that i swapped an OBD2 GSR into and just reused the wiring harness and used an OBD2b->OBD2a conversiuon harness. the only things you'll prob have to modify is the IACV plug, add the PURGE CONTROL SOLENOID from a GSR, and do the Crank sensor bypass to get the CEL out.
