Default why would low beams not be working, but the high beams are???

Both low beams went out at the same time, so i figured it was a fuse. I checked the high and low beam fuses underdash, checked the main lamps one under the hood. 95 civic ex, one bulb per headlight for high/low , i dont see how half of it can blow and why both headlights are out at the same time. The high beams still work and im clueless.

Have you tried replacing the bulbs with just a $3 OE replacement from an autoparts store to rule out that possibility?

nope that was next thing on list if no good response from any of you guys. I just thought it was odd that both headlights and only the low beam would go out at the same time.

it happens.
just replace BOTH bulbs, even if only one side is out and NEVER touch the glass of bulb with bare hands when replacing.
