Default Axle problem has exp Honda techs scratch heads.

Set up is 96 coupe with 99 gsr motor. Has vibration accelerating or high rpm engine braking. Seems to be coming from the left side. Trading the left outer axle for a reman didnt help. The car has KYB gr2 shock and ground control coilovers. raising the car up makes it worse. Removing the left lower torque mount and placing washers under the drivers side mount helps a little.
This lead me to question the mounts. I now know the bracket under the timing cover was swapped to a 99 00 si bracket. All the other mounts I believe are correct using stock drivers mount and other Integra mounts.
Before I go buy a new intermediate shaft, has anyone had a problem like this before. Thanks in advance for any advice. Dave

Put it on a drive on lift and look at your axle angles. I'm guessing you'll find that they are off. Could be due to wrong mount, incorrectly built mount, sagging passenger mounts, etc.
