Default Motor Mount or Axle Problem? Help

I drive a 96 Civic Dx. Auto... Flame on! haha
ok but anyways, ive been having this problem, whenever i accelerate i hear this knocking or clicking sound coming from the front of the car. It only happens when i accelerate, and when i dont its stops. Could it be my axle or a motor mount? Thanks in advance

you really only hear your axles when you are turning. if you have the original mounts then chances are they are worn out and busted to all kinds of ish. just do a visual check of them and see if they are bad.

i bet if you open your hood and hit the throttle at the engine you dont hear it right ? i hear something similar in my car under acceleration. I had a couple of my honda boys look and listen ... the only thing we can come up with is something in the tranny, but it has caused me no problems at all. Is it just loud enough to be annoying ?

Having the same issue with my EM1. I was leaning towards engine mounts, busted ball joints, or something along those lines. I don't think it's the tranny, and I know for a fact it's not the axles (it was starting to do it with the stockers in, and it's getting worse now with the new ones from Raxles).

If you find anything solid, please post your findings.

Its' not difficult to test your mounts. Sometimes if they're bad enough you can just accelerate it under the hood and see the engine move back n forth, or you can get a buddy ( who you DEEPLY trust lol), and get him to put your car in first gear, with breaks and e-brake fully applied, and accelerate a little into gear, making the engine apply pressure. Bad mounts = engine pivoting anyways just check if it pivots a lot or not.

I think it's probably the tranny mount.
